Sedona Shuttle - Daily Schedule
What is your daily schedule?
We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, or right on time at the airport. You get to pick the time we pick you up. 30 minutes after you land is normal.
What is my pickup time at the airport?
We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights. If you don't have bags just schedule your pickup time for 15 minutes after you land.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights. Please let us know if you change your airline or flight number. It's also important to give us the flight number actually coming into PHX. Sometimes you may have more than one flight number if you have a layover or switch planes.
What happens if my flight arrives early?
You can always call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Most of the time we can accommodate an early pickup. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation. You can always grab a coffee or something to eat while you are waiting. If it's hot please wait until the last moment to go outside. We want to make you experience great and the heat in Phoenix can be a health hazard.
How soon should I make a reservation?
Several days ahead of time is a good idea. Some people book months in advance. Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays. This is especially true if you need to be picked up in the middle of the night.
How long does it take to go from Phoenix or Sedona?
Trips to and from in normal traffic are about 1 hour and 40 minutes versus about 3 hours and 30 minutes on the bus or a shuttle with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 minutes (30 minutes on the average). Unlike us buses and shared ride shuttle frequently stop and wait for other people. They can also be significantly late due to other customers. Combine that with traffic and you will probably not want to share a ride. Airport Shuttle of Phoenix is highly reviewed and voted #1 by customers for Phoenix to Sedona shuttle services.
What time should I be picked up?
3 hours and 30 minutes before is normally enough time. The airport recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive takes about 2 hours, then 3 and a half hours before your flight takes off if normally good. Airlines start giving seats away about 40 minutes before take off. It just depends on how many people are trying to get on your plane.
Our Better Drivers
Who are your drivers?
Most of our drivers have been driving professionally with the public for more than 10 years. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some of our drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon and many other destinations.
We have high standards for our drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. Drivers are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. All drivers go through extensive background checks with the airport in order to pick up passengers.
We also train them by driving them through the airport, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off. Drivers dress well, get the door for you, help with bags, and go out of their way to make you experience great.

Things You Should Know
Does it make sense to take an Uber or Lyft?
Uber and Lyft drivers often cancel once they arrive at your house, because the app doesn't tell them where they are going until they arrive at your home. Usually drivers don't want to drive that far and not get paid for two hours to drive back, or they are unavailable to work for that long. This may result in you missing your flight after 2-3 of them cancel in a row, and they charge you $5 each time for the cancellation. You then try to contact Uber or Lyft over the next week to get a refund, and they don't even have a phone number.
Another thing to consider is that Uber and Lyft drivers are never interviewed, so you may get a depressed guy complaining about his life, a tiny car with no leg room or a creeper. Uber and Lyft also do not train their drivers and the airport is moderately confusing to most people, so they usually have no idea where to go.
How reliable is the Greyhound bus or an Arizona shuttle with a lot of people?
Companies that do shared rides will try to pick you up an hour or two earlier, but they make no promises about when you will actually get to the airport. If you're on a tight schedule, the shared ride option with Arizona shuttle or the Greyhound is probably not a good idea. Extra stops and scheduling with other passengers can either make you too early or potentially late. Even with great drivers, passengers can be unpredictable and end up making everyone miss their flight.
Sedona Airport has helicopter rides, a beautiful view, hiking near the airport, and an awesome restaurant with free parking. The tacos are amazing! This restaurant has a real chef and the pilots love to eat there.
Red Rock State Park has amazing views of the red rock, flowers, and cacti. It's a great place to camp, hike and take pictures. Sedona is much more beautiful than the Grand Canyon, just not a big and well known.
Slide Rock State Park has a beautiful river. It's a great place to take pictures and close to the water, so you don't get too hot.
Oak Creek Canyon is full of cacti and green vegetation. It's a good place to hike to the top of the canyon ridge and take pictures of the valley below.

Honaki has great hiking and views. It's a very beautiful place to take pictures similar to Red Rock State Park.

Phoenix to Sedona Shuttle reviews vary significantly by company from 1 star to 5 stars. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. In other words, companies with 1 to 3 star reviews are similar to riding a Greyhound Bus. Shuttle companies with 4 to 5 star reviews are usually more similar to a private car at shuttle prices than a shared ride shuttle or bus. Companies with better reviews usually offer door to door service and are non-stop in nicer vehicles. Cheap shuttles go out of business all the time and frequently don't answer their phone.
