Our Daily Schedule

What is your daily schedule?

We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, or right on time at the sky harbor. You get to pick the time we pick you up.

What is my pickup time at the airport?

We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights.

What happens if my flight arrives early?

You can always call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation.

How soon should I make a reservation?

Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays.

How long does it take to the Grand Canyon?

Trips to and from the Grand Canyon in normal traffic are about 3 hours and 30 minutes versus about 7 hours on the bus with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 minutes (30 minutes on the average).

What time should I be picked up?

5 hours before is normally enough time. The airport recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive from Grand Canyon to Sky Harbor takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes, then 5 hours before your flight takes off if normally good.

Our Better Drivers

Who are your drivers?

Most of our drivers have been driving professionally with the public for more than 10 years. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some of our drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon and many other destinations.

We have high standards for our drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. Drivers are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. All drivers go through extensive background checks with the airport in order to pick up passengers.

We also train them by driving them through the airport, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off.

Pricing / Fares (Grand Canyon)

How much does it cost to the Grand Canyon?

It depends on the addresses you enter and the number of people. You can check rates by clicking any of the buttons above or below that say "Check Rates". There are different options under "Select Service" like "To Airport" or "From Airport" and "One Way" or "Round Trip". You can also choose the option called "Any Address" for non-airport transportation in between any two addresses in Arizona. Rates are total, not per person. You can also enter the promo code "ONLINE" for one way trips to save 10%, or book a round trip to save more both ways.

How do I get an accurate quote?

  • Step 1 - You can just type in the city to check rates, but we recommend entering the full address to get an accurate quote since we have special rates for certain zip codes and most pricing is mileage based. Feel free to call us if you have any questions. Once you fill in the addresses, click "View Rates".
  • Step 2 - We include pricing for Taxi, Shuttle and Black Car Service, so you can compare costs and have more options. Choose the type of service you want with the correct number of passengers. Once a price comes up and you're happy, click "Reserve Now"
  • Step 3 - It's always a good idea to enter your name, cell phone and email to save your quote and automatically get a copy sent to your email. That way we can easily look up your quote by name when you call and finish up your reservation when you're ready. Just click "Continue"
  • Step 4 - The website won't actually book anything until you enter a credit or debit card on the final booking screen. You will automatically receive a confirmation email with all the details after you click "Confirm My Reservation".

How do I save money?

Please enter the full address to get the most accurate rates between Phoenix and Grand Canyon National Park or vice versa. Book a round trip and you'll get 10% off each way. If it's a one way you can use promo code ONLINE to save 10%. This promo code is only valid on one way trips. If you're booking a round trip you automatically save 10% each way, so you can use discount code NONSTOP instead to get a free upgrade to non-stop.

What are the benefits of using our shuttle service?

Door to door service is included on all our trips. Usually trips are non-stop in a nicer vehicle. We can pick you up at your home anytime 24/7. We normally take you straight home, which is very different from other companies that leave you at a bus stop and stop and wait at intermediate points for hours. We also don't pack you in with 8-15 people you don't know and stop everywhere.

Does it cost anything to change my reservation?

You can always change the date and time of your reservation at no cost. If you don't know the exact address, you can enter the city for now to reserve it, and give us the full address later. If you don't know your flight number, you can estimate the time and update the flight number and time later via phone, email or text.

Our Better Vehicles

What type of vehicle will pick me up?

We can send a shuttle (4+ passengers) or a nice car (1-3 passengers) anytime and take you to or from any address in Arizona, not just the Sky Harbor. Our vehicles are clean and newer. Most vehicles are luxury and full size. We have Mercedes Sprinters, Lincoln Navigators, Chrysler 300's, Lexus ES300 Hybrids, Lincoln MKZ's, and a variety of other vehicles to meet your needs.

Our Pickup Locations

Hi, your driver picks up where it says Prearranged. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except Prearranged. The signs are easy to see and they are always at the outer curb. Sometimes airport security will send people to the wrong place, so it's better to follow the directions below. The airport also won't allow drivers to walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle or wait, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off of airplane mode, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

Terminal 2 Prearranged is across the crosswalk to the left from Door 8 near the rental car shuttles and to the right.

Terminal 3 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 6 and to the right, south side of the building.

Terminal 4 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 3, north side of the building, first floor. The sign says "Prearranged Vehicles 3 NORTH".

To and From Any Address (One Way)

What kind of transportation services do you offer?

We offer rides from PHX to Grand Canyon views, and other types of transportation like black car and taxi. We offer many types of vehicles, and different options to make your experience great. We can pick you up or drop you off at the bright angel lodge, south Kaibab Trail, oak creek canyon, grand canyon visitor center, rim of grand canyon, north rim, south rim of grand canyon, Kaibab rim route, national park service, Colorado River and the grand canyon village park entrance.

Things You Should Know

Does an Uber or Lyft make sense?

Uber and Lyft drivers often cancel once they arrive at your house, because the app doesn't tell them where they are going until they arrive at your home. Usually drivers don't want to drive that far and not get paid for two hours to drive back, or they are unavailable to work for that long. This may result in you missing your flight after 2-3 of them cancel in a row, and they charge you $5 each time for the cancellation. You then try to contact Uber or Lyft over the next week to get a refund, and they don't even have a phone number.

Another thing 2 consider is that Uber and Lyft drivers are never interviewed, so you may get a depressed guy complaining about his life, a tiny car with no leg room or a creeper. Uber and Lyft also do not train their drivers and the airport is moderately confusing 2 most people, so they usually have no idea where 2 go.

How reliable is the Greyhound bus or Arizona with a lot of people?

Companies that do shared rides will try 2 pick you up an hour or two earlier, but they make no promises about when you will actually get 2 the airport. If you're on a tight schedule, the shared ride option with Arizona or the Greyhound is probably not a good idea. Extra stops and scheduling with other passengers can either make you too early or potentially late. Even with great drivers, passengers can be unpredictable and end up making everyone miss their flight.

We offer: grand canyon tours, transportation from phoenix - grand canyon south rim, transportation from phoenix - grand canyon train, affordable service that is much better than a grand canyon bus.

What to see from Phoenix - Grand Canyon?

We are happy 2 take the scenic route from Phoenix - Grand Canyon south rim, help you plan a day trip 2 the Grand Canyon, or go 2 the Grand Canyon via Sedona. Sedona is a frequently overlooked gem of Arizona with stunning red rocky cliffs and landscapes. One of the great reasons 2 let someone else do the driving is that you get 2 see so much more and drivers know were all the great spots are 2 visit and take pictures.

Can you take the train 2 the Grand Canyon?

Yes, you just need us 2 drive you from PHX 2 the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams AZ. The best way 2 get their is with our company, because it's non-stop and we take you all the way. There is no actual Phoenix - Grand Canyon train.

Is Sedona near Phoenix?

Yes, Sedona is about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Sky Harbor by car or with us. The Greyhound does not go 2 Sedona. Arizona is very similar 2 the Greyhound as far as travel time (3 hours) and multiple stops.

The PHX - Grand Canyon bus takes about 8 hours on the Greyhound or another shared ride service, and I don't believe the Greyhound actually goes into the Grand Canyon National Park since it costs an extra $7 per person for the entry fee in a bus.

What is the closest town 2 the Grand Canyon?

At the south rim it's the Grand Canyon Village, AZ inside the park or Tusayan AZ right outside the national park.

At the north rim it's Marble Canyon, AZ outside the park. Marble Canyon is right next 2 a beautiful bridge that people can walk on and look down at the Colorado River.

There are lots of companies that offer Grand Canyon tours once you are closer 2 the north or south rim of the Grand Canyon, but you will save a lot of money if you skip getting a rental car and just book your transportation with a service that also does Grand Canyon Tours like us. In fact I think we are the only company that does that since Arizona doesn't do tours. It's also a lot more exclusive, non-stop and flexible on time and what you want 2 see.

What is the best airport 2 fly into for the Grand Canyon?

There are no direct flights 2 the Grand Canyon or the Flagstaff Airport, and the Grand Canyon Airport is mainly for helicopter rides. The cost 2 fly from PHX - Flagstaff ranges from $150 - $350 per person plus taxes and baggage fees depending on demand and time of year. The least expensive option is 2 fly into PHX and take a shuttle 2 the Grand Canyon. If you do decide 2 fly into Flagstaff, and then get a ride 2 the Grand Canyon, the amount of time 2 get through the airport, wait for the plane 2 take off and get your bags is about the same as just driving from the Sky Harbor Airport 2 Flagstaff. So there really is no advantage as far as time. The only difference is that the flight will probably cost you more, especially if you are traveling with someone. With two or more people the shuttle will normally be half the price or less.

Where is the best place 2 stay when visiting the Grand Canyon?

We really enjoy staying at the El Tovar Hotel; they have different options like the Kachina Lodge and the Bright Angel Lodge. You can also reserve cabins down near the Colorado River, but the waiting list for both mule rides 2 the bottom of the South Rim and cabins is 12-14 months. The accommodations at the El Tovar Hotel are a lot more comfortable. Hiking 2 the bottom is 8-9 miles and very steep. Hiking 2 the bottom and back up the same day is not really a good idea if you aren't a professional athlete.
